Chapter 1: Guess Who's Back

Deep in the mines under the castle, a hand emerges from a pit and a voice yells for help. The Bad King's Advisor comes running and pulls the King out of the pit and the two are reunited. The Advisor tells the King he has a plan to get the crown back and the two of them make their way out of the mines together.

Chapter 2: Keep Away

Up in the castle, Melly is teasing Chuck and Butternut with the last can of cat food, hoping to get them to chase her for it. Chuck has gone through the portal to collect more food from home, but in the meantime Melly is playing a game of keep away with the last can. Just as the game gets exciting for Melly, Tugs arrives with a whole box of cans. The cats are excited about the food, but even more impressed with the box! The cats call for the Royal Can-Opener, but it seems no one knows where Wilma is... or what she's up to.

Chapter 3: Weird Science

Wilma has snuck off into the small cottage in the woods. Now that she is without her magic, she has decided to use science to get what she wants. She has created a machine that she hopes will help her control the ancient creatures and turn them into mindless slaves. She tests the machine on a chipmunk and is successful. The bad King and his Advisor arrive at the cottage to find Wilma getting a pedicure from the chipmunk who is still under her control. The three villains discuss their plan. In return for a map to the Griffinbear's lair, Wilma promises the King she will get his crown back.

Chapter 4: Way Back When

Melly finally gets tired of trying to get the cats to play with her and heads over to see what Narra and Hetty are up to. The two were chatting about the "old days" when things were more magical and the four ancient magical creatures worked together to shape the world. Narra tells Melly about when she first met Wilma and the two of them started spending time together, Lemmy the Griffinbear and Retta the Dragonseal didn't approve of the friendship. They were suspicious of the human who wanted to know all their secrets. When Wilma stole Narra's tail, Lemmy and Retta decided to go into hiding, fearing she would come for them next. Melly convinces the gang to go to the North Sea and look for Retta to let her know that she can finally come out of hiding. The cats need a little more convincing because they're busy napping in the box, so Hetty uses her magic to lift them all into the air and they all take off to the North Sea together.

Chapter 5: The Beast's Lair

Wilma, the King and his Advisor wander through the forest and approach a large cave opening, which according to the map, is the Griffinbear's lair. The three villains joke about each other being too afraid to enter and just then a booming voice is heard coming from the cave. A GIANT Griffinbear, Lemmy emerges from the cave and threatens to eat them for breakfast but Wilma quickly pulls out her machine and begins to entrance him, gaining full mind control over the beast. She orders Lemmy to pick up the King and his Advisor and they all fly off together to the North Sea to hunt for the Dragonseal.

Chapter 6: The North Sea

Our heroes arrive at the shores of North Sea first and start to have a look around. The cats are predictably distracted by their box so Narra splashes a wave of cold sea water on them to snap them out of their obsession. Just then the ground opens up and Melly and the cats fall into a huge crack. Hetty uses her magic to save them but turns to find Narra has been partially swallowed up by the earth. Narra looks up to see the villains arriving and realizes Lemmy is using his earth magic to create the chaos. Wilma brags that she is using the power of science to control Lemmy and then turns the machine to Narra and Hetty, putting both under her control. With Hetty under Wilma's control, her magic wears off and Melly and the cats fall into the ocean. The box keeps them afloat. Wilma orders Narra to give the crown to the King, but the King gets greedy and orders Wilma to give him the machine too. Wilma turns on the King, takes his crown, and makes him and his Advisor her servants. Wilma then orders Hetty to blow the box with Melly and the cats far into the sea.

Chapter 7: Hopelessly Adrift

Melly and the cats feel doomed, hopelessly drifting in the sea. They bark and meow, but no one is around to save them. As if things can't get worse, the box springs a leak and begins to sink. Luckily, they hit a tiny island just as the box disappears into the sea, then they continue to bark and meow for help. The island rumbles under their feet and a voice asks them to keep the noise down. That's no island, it's Retta, the Dragonseal! Retta recognizes Melly by her name and flies out of the water with Melly and the cats on her head.

Chapter 8: Reunited

Melly excitedly assumes they can now rush over and save the others, but Retta is unfortunately not willing to help. She explains that she doesn't want to get involved in human troubles and will not go looking for them. She doesn't have to though, because the villains suddenly fly in on Lemmy's back along with Narra and Hetty. Retta immediately notices something is not right by their blank stares. Wilma pulls out her machine again and tries to hypnotize Retta but Melly shouts for everyone to look away because it's a trap! Wilma is infuriated and orders Narra, Hetty and Lemmy to attack. Vines emerge from the ground and capture Melly and the cats. Hetty blows Retta to the ground and Lemmy buries Retta with boulders, trapping her. Melly tells Butternut to chew the vines like he chews the TV cables, and tells Retta to use her magic to cause a tidal wave, hoping to splash some sense into her mind controlled friends. A tidal wave hits Narra and he starts to come to. The tidal wave hits the villains and they wash up disoriented and without the mind control machine in hand.

Chapter 9: Awakenings

Narra is still confused, but hears Retta shout for him to catch Hetty and Lemmy. Narra is much larger than the others but they still give him a hard time with their magic. Retta blasts another tidal wave and wakes Hetty and Lemmy out of their trance. Wilma looks desperately for the machine but the King has found it AND his crown. While the King tries to figure out how to use it, Melly snatches it from him and turns it into a game of keep away. After a bit of a struggle, the King gets hold of the machine but Wilma and the Advisor also get ahold of it and the three of them accidentally hypnotize themselves. Narra suggests they all head back to the kingdom so he can show his friends that creatures and humans can live in harmony after all.

Chapter 10: All Together Now

Our heroes fly home and arrive at the castle welcomed by Ms. Cooper. Narra tells Ms. Cooper that he is done being ruler and as his last official act, he will be appointing a council of creatures and humans to rule instead. After a little persuading, Lemmy, Hetty and Retta agree to be part of the council and to celebrate they begin working together to change the landscape. They tear down the walls, create floating mountains and waterfalls, topped off with beautiful rainbows. Everyone applauds and is amazed by the sight. Meanwhile, the cats are enjoying the hypnotized villains' can-opening skills by feasting. Once again, Melly informs the cats it's time to go and that Mama and Papa will be home soon. They say goodbye and Narra hints that maybe next time he and the others will go to Melly's world for a visit!

Chapter 11: Home Sweet Home

Melly and the cats SHOOP! out of the hole and arrive safely in a pile-up. Immediately, they hear the front door click as rush through the back door to meet Mama and Papa just as they enter the house. Mama and Papa assume the cuties were waiting by the door all day and share an adorable family group hug. Papa announces he's got a bag full of cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets and they make their way to the living room. Papa stops at the back door and notices the hole in the yard. Chuck and Tugs whisper about who forgot to cover up the hole, but Papa dismisses it assuming it was a neighborhood skunk and says he'll have a look after dinner.
